Before you jump into patents, prototypes, or pitching — you need to know one thing:

🧪 The 5-Minute Market Test
Here’s how to quickly check if your invention idea has real potential:
1. Search the "Big Three"
(Amazon, Google, Pinterest)
Amazon: Search for products that solve the same problem.
➔ Are there similar products? Are people leaving lots of reviews? Positive AND negative?Google: Try 3–5 different search phrases.
➔ Does anything almost identical pop up? What kinds of companies are offering similar solutions?Pinterest: Browse how everyday consumers are solving these problems.
➔ Is there growing interest around a DIY version of your idea?
🧠 Quick Coaching Tip:
If your search turns up nothing and your idea solves a common problem, you may be onto something.
If your search shows tons of similar products... you’ll need to be different or better.
2. Run a Quick Google Trends Check
Go to Google Trends.
Type in a few main keywords related to your idea.
Look for spikes, steady climbs, or consistent demand over time.
Compare search interest across seasons.

If your idea is seasonal — plan accordingly.
Use Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook:
